CASUAL SALES CONSULTANT - NSW.

We're seeking a passionate Casual Sales Consultant to join our showroom team, working a minimum of 2 days per week including Saturdays. This is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful client relationships while contributing to the growth of a leading Australian furniture brand. 

As the first point of contact in our showroom, you’ll create a considered and effortless client experience building genuine connections and guiding customers through our collections to find pieces that feel right for their space and lifestyle. 

Location: Waterloo, Sydney NSW 
Reports to: National Sales Manager  
Works closely with: Sales and Operational teams

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create a warm, intuitive welcome for every client, offering personalised guidance through our collections. 
  • Build meaningful relationships with new and returning clients to encourage ongoing engagement. 
  • Process orders in-store, over the phone and via email with care and attention to detail. Respond promptly and thoughtfully to client enquiries, maintaining accurate records within Gorgias. 
  • Contribute to individual and team sales targets through a collaborative, considered approach. 
  • Maintain showroom presentation and visual merchandising in line with brand direction. 
  • Prepare and dispatch orders for fabric swatches and merchandise. 
  • Set the showroom each day to ensure a calm, welcoming and beautifully organised space. 


Skills & Experience

  • Proven retail sales or customer service experience (within the furniture, interiors, or design industry highly desired) 
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. 


You are

  • Available to work Saturdays, and 1-2 days during the week 
  • Passionate about design, interiors, and premium products. 
  • A great communicator with strong relationship-building skills 
  • Positive, with a professional attitude and strong initiative
